Appaloosa Supreme Champion at Scottish Appaloosa Breed Show, Gleneagles, 2001; Spotted Horse and Pony Supreme Champion at Scottish Appaloosa Breed Society Show at Devon Equestrian Centre, 2005 and 2006.

Elljay Indiana (Max) is strikingly good-looking and a delight to be with. He has a wonderfully calm temperament, yet takes a great interest in what goes on and learns quickly. He is a charming, elegant and intelligent gentleman. He has travelled around the country to attend clinics, to take part in demonstrations, and to compete in dressage competitions. He has BD points at Novice level and, after a 2 year break, has begun to compete successfully at Elementary level. He has been schooled according to classical principles and his lateral work is well establised. He finds collecting himself particularly easy and has begun to offer a few steps of piaff.

His sire, Dance with Wolves, is dual registered with BAPS and ApHC and in BApS' stallion assessment is graded as 'excellent'. Dance with Wolves is a Dutch bred, athletic warmblood type with over 9" bone.

His dam, Elljay Lukes Diamond, is by Capitall Luke from the Capitall Stud which is famous for showing and breeding Appaloosa horses and ponies. For a full geneological table click here
